Series 2 of the "Teaching Europe Podcast" has the topic "Learning Spaces". As usual we speak with experts of Symposion Network member universities from all over Europe. Guests in episode 1 are Liz Curtis and Jo Vergunst from the University of Aberdeen they speak with Christian Kogler about "Voices of the future".
They are part of the research project ‘Voices of the Future: Collaborating with children and young people to re-imagine treescapes’. It’s part of a wider UK programme of research into the future of UK treescapes – environments where trees play a significant role. Voices of the Future explores how children’s voices can be listened to and schools can integrate trees and woods into their learning practices.

„The Cooperative Liberal Laboratory (CoLiLab) is the pedagogical makerspace at the University of Education in Weingarten. It provides the technological infrastructure for pre-service teachers to explore a wide range of digital technologies for developing learning materials. A variety of (digitilization-related) teaching and learning projects can be cooperatively planned, implemented and revised there, with the support of trained tutors and self-learning materials. In the course of this, pre-service teachers at the University of Education Weingarten acquire essential 21st century skills for their future professional development.“
